CCDA Career Questions

Posted on August 12th, 2008 in CCDA, Cisco by

Hello,I am a CCNA and I am still thinking if I will push thru with CCNP or just review for the CCDA. However, I browsed the classifieds and none of the qualifications do need a CCDA certified. Most are CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE. Also, CCDA is not included in the top shares of the year. Also, in my opinion only few network proffessionals take this exam. Why is this so? How relavant is the CCDA both in the real world and in the certification field? Is CCDA offered in all countries? Compared to CCNA, how prestigious is the CCDA? I hope you can give me your professional feedback. Thanks in advance!
A CCNA will teach you how to troubleshoot an environment. A CCDA enables you to understand the network from a whole of environment aspect, ie evaluation and improvement. Following on the CCDP is designed to teach you best practice on how to approach network design from the ground up.

Just an opinion of course.
